It’s pretty tough for any mascara to make a significant difference on me. Usually, I have to resort to using false eyelashes, which can be a pain for every day, so I tend to save them for special occasions. But I always secretly hope to find a mascara that will replace the need for false eyelashes to make my eyes look more open and well-defined.

If you hate waterproof mascara, but you want long-lasting, smudge-proof eyelashes, you should consider switching to a tubing mascara. Even one coat turned my lashes into triangles, which is my number-one pet peeve on the mascara front. Unless I had a spoolie nearby to help clean things up, I can't see myself using this formula again. It was also a little heavy, and it dried out throughout the day, which bothered my eyes a little bit. That said, it definitely has some major oomph in the volume department and is perfect for pairing with a statement-making eye that requires major lashes to go along with it.
